Could Bitcoin Hit $150,000? Investor Suggests Clarity Act May Spark Significant Surge

According to financial advisor Ric Edelman, the anticipated Clarity Act could unleash a wave of institutional investment, potentially driving Bitcoin's price above $150,000 by the end of 2026. Edelman elaborated during a recent Milk Road podcast episode that many traditional financial firms have remained cautious, not due to a lack of interest, but because of regulatory uncertainties. He noted that Morgan Stanley has already encouraged its advisers to incorporate small crypto allocations into portfolios, indicating a shift in sentiment among major financial players. Edelman envisions a 'flywheel effect' where rising prices attract more investors, subsequently pushing prices even higher. He also mentioned his long-term Bitcoin target of $500,000, as he critiques the outdated 60/40 investment strategy. Instead, he advocates for an 80/20 model, suggesting the inclusion of at least 10% in cryptocurrencies, particularly for younger investors who may allocate up to 40%. While Bitcoin is still the preferred option, Edelman recognizes the increasing significance of Ethereum and Solana in the crypto landscape.
