PancakeSwap and YZi Labs Introduce Zero-Fee Prediction Market on BNB Chain

A new prediction market platform named Probable is set to debut on the BNB Chain. Leading decentralized exchange PancakeSwap, in collaboration with venture studio YZi Labs, announced the initiative on social media earlier today. Probable aims to carve out a niche in the prediction market sector by prioritizing simplicity and a transparent fee structure, boasting zero prediction fees from launch day. The team emphasized in a Medium post, "Probable delivers true zero-fee predictions—no platform fees, no hidden charges." The platform will facilitate wagers on cryptocurrency price fluctuations, global events, sports, and unique regional occurrences, with all markets settled on-chain to ensure transparency. Users can deposit various assets, which will be automatically converted to USDT for making predictions. The team expressed on X their belief that prediction markets should be straightforward, transparent, and accessible to all, stating, "Probable is designed to make on-chain predictions faster, easier, and more inclusive." To validate real-world event outcomes, the platform will utilize UMA’s Optimistic Oracle, ensuring tamper-resistant results. PancakeSwap's involvement lends immediate visibility and credibility, leveraging its extensive user base. BNB Chain founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao remarked on the expanding array of prediction markets within the network. Probable enters a rapidly evolving sector drawing increased attention and investment, highlighted by recent developments such as Kalshi's $185 million funding round led by Paradigm and the Intercontinental Exchange's substantial investment in Polymarket. Additionally, recent announcements from Trump Media’s Truth Social and Crypto.com to introduce prediction markets to social media audiences further illustrate the concept's growing popularity, with Crypto.com co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek projecting a potential “multi-deca-billion dollar industry” for prediction markets.
